It has been a long time since I last wrote. I haven’t really had time because of school, work and other stuff. But a fellow classmate of mine asked me question, which led me to write this post, because I think that many people are seeking for motivation, but they don’t really know what they are looking for.

He asked me “what motivates you to go to school”. So the reason he asked me was because I’m a hardworking person. I love school and it has always been like that. He was wondering what drives me to go to school and do my homeworking every day. You probably hear people hating on school and stuff, and then there is me, who feel like I’m uncompleted without school, because it gives me something to do besides working of course. Now I sound like a freak or a nerd, but I’m not. You know why? Because I believe in “education is the key to success” and because of that I need to give it 100%.

Before I answered my classmate I had to think about it, because it’s not something I normally think about. My answer to him was: “It is the idea of learning something new, but also because I want to achieve something where I feel like everything I've worked hard for, has paid off.”

So if you’re looking for motivation, you need to look deep inside yourself. What makes you happy or what do you want to achieve? Just answering these two you can do really great things for yourself. You just need to believe in yourself and the rest will come by itself. Don’t let negativity overshadow all the positive things. Always look on the bright site of life.

Our school system is different from the US and UK. We don’t really have what you call high school. It’s instead high school combined with college which is 3 years. From the age 16-19 years old or for some people 17-20 years old. And after this it’s university or whatever they want to do with their life.

Sorry for bad grammar, but I hope it wasn’t bad to read J

We have all tried comfort eating from time to time. It may start as an innocent thing when we are stressed, bored, lonely or sad and want to cheer ourselves up by eating. Most of us do it without even knowing it. It often occurs with drinking a cup of coffee with a couples biscuits, or that naughty bar of chocolate bar from the supermarket. We’ve enjoyed the first one so much, that we are tempted to have more because of the “pleasure” we are feeling.

For some people it gets completely out of hand. It might begin with “oh I’m feeling a little down today I have to eat something sugared”. At first you don’t really give it any thought because you simply think that you have a bad day. In the long run it starts to get so out of hand that is like their drug. They are addicted to eat in any case they are feeling stressed, bored, lonely or sad. In reality, they are hiding from the truth and don’t want to face their problem, and by eating they think that they have some kind of control left.

To get rid of comfort eating, there are things you can do. Keeping yourself occupied is a good way to forget the temptation for food. If you feel peckish, but suspect it might be because you are bored, do something you enjoy like watching a movie. You can even eat popcorn it’s not too naughty if you are feeling like chewing on something. While you are in the process of quitting comfort eating, don’t cut it out all in once. It’s healthy to eat the foods you are craving but it’s a good idea to try and eat less of it. Will power is the key.

Procrastination can be a big issue for many, which prevent them from achieving what they want, so what should we do to prevent procrastination?

In many cases we hear the two most frequently used phrases when we talk about procrastination is "I'll feel more like doing it tomorrow." Or "I work best under pressure." But in reality, they do not feel like the next day or work best under pressure. These two are the most common and is used almost everyday. In addition they protect their self-image by saying "that's not important." Another thing they take solace in is that time pressure makes them more creative. Unfortunately, they do not prove to be more creative, they can only feel that way. They waste their resources.

Their main problem is that they actively seek distractions, especially those who do not take a lot of commitment on their part. Checking e-mail or other social media is almost perfect for this purpose. They distract themselves as a way to regulate their emotions, because they are afraid to fail them self. They take the easy way out, which is in many cases denial.
To prevent procrastination there are many things that can be changed. The easiest solution is to break your work into little steps, so you don’t have to do it all at once. Another thing you can do is to change your environment, because the environment around you can affect how our productivity level is. Or you can choose to do it in the hard way by just do it because it ultimately boils down to act. You can do all the work at once, but if you do not take action, nothing will happen!

The first thing you should do is that you have to define what happiness is for you. Happiness can be anything from food to work. There is no limit to happiness. It is entirely up to ourselves when we think we have achieved our goal. Happiness comes from our own actions. We shouldn’t wait for the joy to come by itself, but instead do something to make it happen. There is various ways to achieve happiness, but a good idea is to stay away from all the negative things that are around you, that can influence on the achievement of happiness. Even the smallest things can make us happy, but we must share the happiness before we enjoy it. Most people think that happiness is all about money, but there is more to happiness than money. Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits. We should be happy for what we have and not think of what others have. When we are pleased with what we are, it's happiness. The secret of happiness is to admire without desiring. Everyone chases after happiness, not noticing that happiness is right at their heels, without realizing it.

Being quiet can have its advantages. Often see many of us, silence as a weakness. In reality can silence be a good thing. Let us take a look at why it can be a good thing to be quiet.

You hear what people are saying. You see their movements. You see their expressions and can interpret what they feel or think. Because you are silent, your attention is fully on the other, and you are focusing on the outside world. So you really can "hear" more when you become quiet, and not just in the aural sense, but in terms of sight and opinion in general.

The more serene and peaceful one is, or quiet in the literal sense, the more comprehension they may have through viewing the world around them.

Sometimes it’s good to be quiet!

What causes attitudes and what do we do with them?

You have probably come across a person with “bad attitude” before. That one person, who gets under your skin, has a terrible attitude and brings one down. When you hear the word “attitude” you probably automatically connect it with something negative. Why? Because most situations we have experienced has been in a negative context.

Let’s face it, attitudes does not come by itself. There can be several reasons for it. The causes could be by someone or something. It’s hard not to take it personally if they direct it to you, but we need to remember that it is most likely coming from somewhere else, and they need to come out with their frustrations which happen to be taken out on us. The person with the “bad attitude” changes the whole atmosphere around, them and it doesn't only affect the person itself but also the people they associate with.

Many times a people who has an attitude is unaware of how they are affecting others. Self awareness is a vital social skill that many people don’t have. You can’t just change others attitudes, they have to see for themselves and want to change.

A good way to prevent getting affected with bad attitude, is by staying positive and don’t let them get you down or get to you. You wonder how much positive attitude can do. Positive attitude can be a very powerful key, and the way to achieve what we desire. But we have to work for it! A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes.

Sometimes being positive isn’t enough when you around negative and rude people. When you with negative people it seems as their energy rubs off on you. Continue to act and do positive things. If you do, you will reap the good benefits of it.

Another thing is to stay away from people who are really negative but it isn’t always possible.  You don’t have to act upon that person’s negativity. You have a choice to be either positive or negative. The easiest way is not to be around negative people unless you absolute have to.
